It's quite cute—it kills mosquitoes and doubles as a decoration. It gets really hot in the summer, and the mosquitoes are particularly bad; this product is actually quite practical. It is a bit on the small side, but that's acceptable.

These solar-powered mosquito zappers look fantastic positioned on our patio. As for how effective they are at killing insects, I’m not entirely sure—after all, we live right by a lake, and the area is simply too vast to completely eliminate every single bug.
Very effective on our Florida scrub land. Even without full sun, it stays illuminated all night, zapping away, but quietly, unlike other zappers.
It’s been a month and worth it. Plug it in for all day or let the solar do its thing, it charges itself, darkness comes and I can hear the popping of bugs. A definite buy for bug zapper
